This is a carbon-reverse bonnet that was created with a completely different concept from previous carbon bonnets.
The front side is painted in the original color, while the back side is made of carbon fiber, a fitting expression for the Type R that emphasizes its racing style.
For those who don't want to change the exterior or for those who want to maintain the standard look, the lightweight design and the sense of superiority when you open the hood are unique to discerning Type R users.
The carbon bonnet type NH is reinforced on the underside and is ultra-lightweight at just 4kg compared to the genuine product's 10kg.
Installation is the same as for the original, using a bonnet striker.
Since it has the same shape as the original, it is recommended for those who are concerned about rainwater and dust that dirty the engine compartment. The engine compartment is less dirty than with a duct.
You can also install the original heat insulation material. For safety reasons, when driving on the street, you can use the original striker without the bonnet pin.
However, when driving in sporty driving such as on a circuit, since the bonnet is lightweight, the bonnet lock may come off due to wind pressure, so we recommend using a bonnet pin for safety.
We recommend painting the carbon bonnet with a UV-resistant clear coat to maintain its luster for a long time.
