This is the ultimate model, featuring the AP Racing 6-piston front caliper, a racing model renowned in the global racing scene. It features a Garland Racing rotor, made of the highest quality FCD ductile cast iron, with a rotor diameter of 355mm and a rotor thickness of 36mm. Experience unparalleled braking power. This set price includes special brake pads, stainless steel mesh brake hoses, and a vehicle-specific bracket.
Floating brake rotors (front only) are designed so that the bell housing (which is fixed to the hub body once the tire is installed) and disc rotor are not fixed in place and can move about 0.2 mm thanks to the bobbin (floating) in the bell housing. Normal types are fixed and naturally do not move. This movement allows judder to escape during braking and reduces vibration. Slotted rotors are prone to judder, so floating is sometimes used. This structure was first used in motorsports cars (GT racing) and on production cars, on the Nissan GTR. Designed specifically for each vehicle, it allows for bolt-on installation.
